Materials and human civilisation have been inextricably linked since time immemorial.

This exhibition traces materials from their origins to how humans transform them into everyday products through technology and design. This story also allows us to appreciate the contribution of earth’s resources to our own ascent and reminds us of the dire consequences on the planet if our ravenous consumption of these resources, do not cease.

Accompanied by an astounding collection from the Design Museum London, and innovative, novel and locally developed materials and interactive exhibits, this exhibition hopes to inspire everyone to create a more sustainable future together.
